The Anthem Technology Center was born out of a desire to consolidate real estate into a single HQ location that supports approximately 3,000 multi-disciplinary IT professionals. Previously spread throughout half a dozen smaller locations, turnerboone was able to inventory and reuse select existing products providing a great deal of value to Anthem. The space plan focuses on large open floor plans allowing Anthem flexibility to achieve maximum usage of their real estate investment.
The Technology Center is housed in two new construction towers which support wellness, sustainability, and connection to the community. Throughout the headquarters, workspaces are free address, encouraging users to sit in whichever setting best suits their task for the day. In addition, the space features break out and gathering areas to foster collaboration between departments.
We have the best people in the industry who care about the success of your project as much as you do. We build trust through mutual respect, responsiveness, communication, and empathy.
Throughout the project, turnerboone worked closely with the design team to facilitate the storage and reuse of existing product. The team created a beautiful headquarters for Anthem while reducing costs.
"turnerboone worked closely with the design and client teams to finalize specifications in a way that expedited the process and kept the team on schedule. The team did mockups to ensure an “exact fit” for the client. The turnerboone team also had a large inventory effort that resulted in enough reuse to reduce the overall project cost for Anthem."

“We had a very positive experience working with the turnerboone team on the furniture for the Anthem project. We went through an extensive RFP and mockup process and they were a helpful and supportive participant from day one. We especially appreciated that the key people we work with and communicate with on a daily basis are the ones doing the work and that they have a full understanding of the job. They always stepped up to do whatever was needed for the project. Our team explored if the workstation and ancillary packages should be split between multiple dealers but the decision was made for this project was for turnerboone to provide the whole furniture package, ultimately this made for a much more seamless process for the scheduling and review processes. The client also engaged them separately to help with existing furniture re-use and inventory work and they were a valuable team player for that work. turnerboone has been a wonderful partner and done an excellent job on this very large and complicated project and they have been a trusted and valued member of the team.”
